The name "Durrendon" is derived from a live reading by GRRM in Chicago, so perhaps a note on spelling should be added. Considering the first Storm King was Durran, the house name could just as easily be something similar-sounding, such as "Durrandon" or "Durranton". The two current references refer to A Game of Thrones. If the name of the house was mentioned in a reading that should be added (as a reference). In the reference a remark on the spelling could be made. Or in another reference.Scafloc 07:30, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
Forget it, Elio confirmed in a forum post that Durrendon is indeed the correct spelling. Francisco Araujo da Costa 21:10, 4 September 2012 (UTC)

House Durrendon Sigil

I always asumed (perhaps influenced by the tv show) that the crown of the crowned stag was put there when Robert took the throne. This always made sense to me, and thus I cannot see why the Durrendon's would have had the crown on their stag as well. The only reference in this article is to a chapter where Eddard thinks about the sigil of the current House Baratheon, not House Durrendon.
