Do we need both illustrations?

The article contains two almost identical illustrations from Amok. The first illustration is used for the article's side bar and the second illustration is used in the body of the article. But other than the change in background, the characters portrayed are identical (same facial expressions, poses, clothing, etc.). I'd even venture to say that the figures were simply translated from one illustration onto a different background. So my point is, do we really need both illustrations in this article, since the second one doesn't really give us anything new on the character? I saw that there's a separate Images of Meera Reed page, so as long as both of these illustrations are in that archive, then removing one of the two from this article shouldn't be a big deal in terms of retaining information. Thoughts? -- La Víbora Roja 20:36, 6 June 2014 (UTC)

If you look closely, the body picture has greater detail on Meera and Jojen. Having more pictures builds to article. This one provides a glimpse of their swamp home, and Amok portrait pictures are pretty customary. Ultimately not only are they two different pictures, but it wouldn't be a problem even if they were just simply cropped (like on the Tywin page). --Lord Thornhart 03:02, 7 June 2014 (UTC)
I'm not sure what you mean by "greater detail"? If there's any difference in the figures, it's rather superficial. Also, if the point is to build up the article, there is a good selection of Meera and Meera/Jojen pics in the archive that could be put in place of that one, to give a wider perspective on the character, rather than having an additional picture which is essentially the same. The background imagery of the Neck in the second pic also seems more like generic forest than swamp/crannogs. -- La Víbora Roja 03:16, 7 June 2014 (UTC)
