During the first day of the fighting the Dothraki were unmatched, Qohor forces were shattered, it's cavalry annihilated and the sellsword companies had fled in the face of hopeless odds. The Dothraki had retired to their camps to drink, feast and rest. before their final assault at dawn brake.

During the night, the Unsullied warriors has finally reached the city and come dawn, was waiting the Dothraki horde arrayed in battle formation before the city gates.

The Dothraki in their contempt for infantry, launched a direct frontal assault, in an attempt to simply ride down the heavy infantry. Eighteen times they charged and attacked the Unsullied ranks, each time failing to break through.

Finally the Dothraki halted their attacks after the Khal, his bloodriders and sons had been killed. Their losses were staggering: 12.000 dead. Only 600 Unsullied remained, but the victory was theirs nonetheless. Four days later, the new khal led his remaining khalasar past the city gates in a stately procession. Each man cut off his braid and threw it down before the Unsullied.{{Ref|aSoS|8}}<ref>[http://www.pvv.ntnu.no/~madsb/home/read/asoiaf/qohor/index.php Digital attic]</ref>

The Battle of Qohor was a battle that took place outside of Qohor roughly four hundred years prior to the War of the Five Kings.[1]

Battle

A khalasar led by Khal Temmo came out of the Dothraki Sea intent on attacking Qohor. Qohor hired the mercenary companies Bright Banners and the Second Sons and purchased three thousand Unsullied. When the Unsullied arrived, the Qohorik forces had been shattered. The Dothraki had returned to their camp to wait for the next day to finish the city off. The next morning they found the Unsullied standing before them. Eighteen times that charged and attacked the Unsullied ranks, each time failing to break through. At the end of the battle, twelve thousand Dothraki were dead including Khal Temmo. The four hundred remaining Unsullied watched as the surviving Dothraki cut their braids and threw them at the feet of the Unsullied.[2]

Aftermath

Since that day, the city guard of Qohor has been made up entirely of Unsullied. Each of them carries a spear with a braid made of human hair attached to it.[3]
