The given name of Victarion Greyjoy's third wife has not been revealed in A Song of Ice and Fire. She was beaten to death by her husband.[1]

History

After his first wife died in childbirth and his second wife died from the pox, Victarion Greyjoy took an unnamed third woman as a salt wife. In 297 AC,[2] Victarion's new wife was seduced or raped by Victarion's elder brother, Euron, becoming pregnant with his child. According to a semi-canon source, their relationship was an affair.[3] Victarion beat his wife to death with his fists, sobbing himself[1] each time he struck the sobbing woman.[4] Victarion then carried her body down to the rocks to give it to the crabs.[1]

Balon Greyjoy, Lord of the Iron Islands, commanded his younger brothers to never speak of the incident. Victarion would have killed Euron, but Balon would have no kinslaying in his hall. Lord Balon sent Euron into exile, never to return while Balon lived. The day that Balon sent Euron off to sea, he reminded Victarion that a kinslayer is accused in the eyes of gods and men. Balon has refused to speak of her and Victarion has not touched a woman since.[1]

After the taking of the Shields, Euron Greyjoy, now King of the Isles and the North, tasks Victarion with retrieving Daenerys Targaryen from Slaver's Bay and bringing her to Westeros to wed Euron. Victarion agrees to go, although he secretly plans to wed Daenerys himself out of vengeance for Euron having despoiled his third wife.[4]
