The Window Fairs is the name given to the hundreds of marriages which took place in the riverlands after the Dance of the Dragons.[1]

History

In the aftermath of the war, more than a thousand northmen settled in the riverlands, marrying women in Widow Fairs, held at Raventree, Riverrun, Stoney Sept, the Twins, and Fairmarket, and taking service as guards and men-at-arms.

The northmen strengthened the riverlords and led a partial revival of worship of the old gods in the region.[1]
