Recent Events

A Feast for Crows

On the way to Duskendale, Brienne of Tarth meets Ser Illifer the Penniless, who chastises her for using a shield with the arms of House Lothston. Illifer speaks of the shameful deeds of those who wore the Lothston arms, including Lord Lucas the Pander,[N 1] and his son Manfryd o' the Black Hood.[1]

Notes

  1. It is unclear whether Lucas Lothston, Falena Stokeworth's husband, is the same character as the Lucas Lothston called the Pander. However, a pander is a pimp,[2] which would be a logical aspersion after Falena and Lucas arranged for their daughter Jeyne to become the mistress of Aegon IV Targaryen, and especially since it was rumored Falena was also Aegon's lover at the same time.[3]
