House Orkwood of Orkmont is a noble house from the Iron Islands, with their seat being on the island of Orkmont.
They blazon their arms as dark green pines strewn closely together on yellow.[2][3]

History
With the exception of House Goodbrother, all of the great houses of the Iron Islands claim descent from the Grey King.[4]
Rognar II Greyiron, King of the Iron Islands, was brought down by an alliance of ironborn lords and Andals which included the Orkwoods.[5]
Recent Events
A Feast for Crows
The Orkwoods support Euron Greyjoy with twenty longships.[6] Some Orkwoods gather to wish Victarion Greyjoy well on the shores of Nagga's Cradle.[7] Aeron Greyjoy spots the banners of House Orkwood among those gathered for the kingsmoot on Old Wyk. Lord Alyn Orkwood, called Orkwood of Orkmont, supports Euron instead of Victarion during the kingsmoot.[2]
