Savior of the City

Savior of the City is a title granted by King Joffrey Baratheon to Tywin Lannister, Warden of the West and Hand of the King, to honor him for his role in saving King's Landing from the attack of Stannis Baratheon during the Battle of the Blackwater.

This is one of the many homages done by the Iron Throne to downplay the key role performed by Tyrion Lannister in achieving the victory, as well as whitewashing Tywin's responsibility for the Sack of King's Landing during Robert's Rebellion
