Janos Slynt

Hi DorneSun, you added to the article of Janos Slynt that he was beheaded in A Dance with Dragons. As the books has not yet been published could you add a reference where you got your information from? (I remember reading a previous teaser chapter in which Slynt was hanged.)

You can add a reference by using the ref tags: <ref>Text of the reference</ref>.

I can't add any reference as I heard the information read by George at a convention and he did not allow any recording of any kind. It seems originally he was hanged but in the final version he will be killed by Jon himself (keeping inline with the man who passes the sentence). I heard this last October. I understand if my word might not good enough and it might have to be removed (prerelease info could get out of hand with theories and what not). We won't have long to wait anyway with it finally coming out. DorneSun 15:26, 10 May 2011 (CDT)

That Slynt was hung I got from a discussion of a chapter on the forum[1]. As you said you heard a different story last October I looked for post within the forum discussion dating from or after October 2010 (not that I don't trust you but to get a reference.) And I found it! In the spoiler section of this reply forum member Brush Guy remarks that Jon beheads Slynt. So it confirms what you are saying and what is more: we have reference. I'll add it and will also remark that it is non-canon as long as the book is not yet published. Cheers, Scafloc 18:21, 10 May 2011 (CDT)
I had not even seen that you had already added a post to the discussion on the forum... A bit silly of me but a least we have a reference.Scafloc 18:47, 10 May 2011 (CDT)
