Yes you are right it needs a map. I have just added it. You can add a map to an article by using the Template:Location map. You have to fill in the parameters of the template to specify
-map: which map you want to add (depends on the region: Crownlands for instance)
-label: if you want to include the name of the city / fortress
-label_size: size of the label
-position: position of the label relative of the mark
-marksize: the mark is the red dot that is in the picture to show the city / fortress. The marksize defines the size of it.
-lat: together with long defines the position of the mark
-long: together with lat defines the position of the mark
-width: width of the label
-float: don't remember
-caption: text below the image of the map
-alt: text that lights up when you pass over the map
