Ser Addam Frey was a knight from House Frey during the reign of King Aerys I Targaryen. He was distantly related to the main branch, being only a cousin to the daughter of Lord Frey of the Crossing. He was considered a promising lance in his youth.[1]

Addam attended the marriage of his cousin to Lord Ambrose Butterwell. He participated in the Whitewalls tourney, where he was unhorsed by Ser Uthor Underleaf.[1]
