Ser Albar Royce is the oldest son and heir of Lord Nestor Royce.

In A Game of Thrones
He is present at the Eyrie when Tyrion Lannister obtains a judicial duel. He offers himself as a champion for Lady Lysa Arryn, but she prefers Ser Vardis Egen to him.[1]
In A Feast for Crows
Ser Albar comes with his father to the Eyrie to hear Marillion confess that he killed Lysa Arryn. Ser Albar does not like Marillion very much. The singer made a song about pigs eating a falcons droppings. As the coat of arms of the Arryns displays a falcon and Ser Albar and his father Nestor were in service of House Arryn they considered the song insulting.[2]

Appearence
Albar is broad shouldered.[3] He shaves his chin but has fierce black side whiskers.[4] He looks very much like his father.[5]
