Alf of Runnymud is a builder of the Night's Watch from Runnymudd.[1]
Recent Events
A Dance with Dragons
After Stannis Baratheon and Melisandre are established at Castle Black, Alf of Runnymudd converts to the faith of R'hllor and is among the queen's men.[2]
Alf gathers with other members of the Night's Watch at the gate of Castle Black after word spreads that the heads of three rangers were found impaled upon spears on the other side of the Wall. When Lord Commander Jon Snow and his party return from inspecting the heads, Alf inquires if his friend Garth Greyfeather is among them. He lets out a howl of grief upon learning that Garth is dead, and has to escorted to a bed and given mulled wine by Hobb.[2]
When Jon gathers men to the Shieldhall, Alf of Runnymudd sits with Bowen Marsh, Wick Whittlestick, and Left Hand Lew.[3]
