Lord Alyn Stokeworth was Lord of House Stokeworth and was Hand of the King during the late reign of Aegon I Targaryen and the early reign of Aenys I Targaryen.

History

Lord Alyn was named Hand of the King by Aegon I Targaryen in 35 AC after the death of the previous Hand in 34 AC. When Aegon ordered the Aegonfort torn down and a stone castle to be built in its place, he assigned the task to Lord Alyn and Visenya Targaryen. [1]

Upon Aenys coronation, rebellions rose throughout the realm, the first of these challenges was by a bandit outlaw known as Red Harren who claimed to be a grandson of King Harren the Black. Alyn personally led the campaign against Red Harren and successfully caught and cornered the Outlaw King. Harren killed Alyn but was then slain by Alyn's squire, Bernarr Bruce.[2] [1]
