History
While he was the ruling king and she queen-consort she had still some influence. She persuaded her husband to abolish the right of nobles to spend the first night with a just married bride (see First Night).
Later when the couple visited the North, the queen travelled to the Wall. According to stories she was so impressed by the bravery of the Night's Watch that she asked Jaehaerys to double to land of the Night's Watch. The acquired land was called "the New Gift".
While she was visiting the Night's Watch she stayed in castle Snowgate which was renamed Queensgate in her honour.
According to non-canon sources, she was very close to her husband, his most trusted counselor. She had many charities and was loved by the people.[1]
