Asabhad is a city at the western boundary of Yi Ti[1] in Essos along the shores of the Jade Sea, east of the Bone Mountains.[2] It is located at a forested river mouth.[2] Situated on a trade route connecting Qarth and Yin,[3] Asabhad is where many caravans begin their journey to the Mountains of the Morn.[1]

It is unknown if the city has some connection to the defunct Patrimony of Hyrkoon, as the names of Asabhad and Bayasabhad end in the same suffix.
