Bellenora Otherys was the eldest of the three bastard children of King Aegon IV Targaryen and his fourth mistress, Bellegere Otherys.[2]
History
After Princess Naerys Targaryen had almost died giving birth in 161 AC, her husband, Prince Aegon was sent to Braavos as an envoy, so Naerys would have sufficient time to recover. In Braavos, Aegon met Bellegere Otherys, with whom he started an affair. Aegon and Bellegere had an affair for ten years, during which Bellegere gave birth to three children: Bellanora, Narha and Balerion. Their paternity remains doubtful, as Bellegere is said to have had a husband in every port she visited.[2]
Bellenora became a courtesan and took the name of "Black Pearl of Braavos", acclaimed by singers of her day as the most beautiful woman in all the world. The tradition was continued by her daughter.[citation needed]
