Beryl is a mineral used for ornamentation. It can appear in various colors, such as green for emeralds.

Xaro Xhoan Daxos gives Daenerys Targaryen a thousand miniature knights made of beryl, jade, onyx, tourmaline, amber, opal and amethyst, with armor of silver and gold.[1]
