Recent Events
A Feast for Crows
Queen Margaery Tyrell gives her young husband King Tommen I Baratheon three black kittens,[2] which he names Boots, Lady Whiskers, and Ser Pounce. The servant Dorcas makes Tommen a toy mouse from scraps of fur and ties it on a fishing pole. The kittens love to chase it, and Tommen likes nothing better than jerking it across the floor as the cats pounce on it.[3]
A Dance with Dragons
When King Tommen dines with his mother, Queen Cersei Lannister, and Lord Regent Kevan Lannister, he brings his kittens. After dinner, the king and his kittens are escorted to the royal bedchamber by Ser Boros Blount.[4]
