Title Caggo Corpsekiller
Allegiance Windblown
Book A Dance with Dragons (Appears)

Caggo, also known as Caggo Corpsekiller, is a sellsword and captain of the Windblown.[1] He is armed with a Valyrian steel Arakh, a rare blade in the world. He rides a monstrous warhorse.

Appearance and Character

Caggo is described as a huge man. He has a seamed, scarred face. He is quick to anger; Quentyn Martell thinks that Caggo’s curved black sword is as nasty as its owner. Caggo is a Windblown captain and stands in high in the Tattered Prince’s regard.

Sometime ago Caggo took a slave girl off Ser Lucifer Long. Ser Lucifer is still seething over this, saying that he could have given her back when he’d had her and that Caggo had no cause to kill her, Caggo retorts that she was ugly and that’s cause enough.

Recent Events

A Dance with Dragons

Caggo was part of the Siege of Astapor. He later became known as Caggo Corpsekiller when it was revealed that the Butcher King of Astapor whom he hacked down was just a corpse in armour tied to a horse (though no one repeats this new title in earshot of Caggo).

He is present alongside Denzo D'han and Meris when the Tattered Prince meets Quentyn Martell and his companions Archibald Yronwood and Gerris Drinkwater in the underceller of the Purple Lotus in Meereen to hear Quentyn's proposal.[2]
