A Game of Thrones
He attends the brothers of the Night's Watch who believe in the Faith of the Seven when they say their vows.[1]
A Storm of Swords
With his drunken prayers he takes part in the defense of the Wall against the wildlings of Mance Rayder. After the arrest of Jon Snow by Janos Slynt's men, he supports the accusations against Jon because Jon had taken his oath in front of a weirwood and doubts his sincerity because he believes in the ancient gods worshipped by the wildlings as well. His protests are overridden by Maester Aemon.
A Dance with Dragons
Like Bowen Marsh Septon Cellador is opposed to many of the decisions Jon Snow makes as the new Lord commander. Cellador is still often in his cups.
