Dragonstone is a building material used by the Valyrians in much of their construction. It is harder than steel or diamond.[1] It is believed the Valyrians used magic to work the stone. [2]

The castle of Dragonstone,[3] the dragonroads,[4] the inner walls of Tyrosh,[5] the Black Wall of Volantis,[4][1], and the ruins of a Valyrian fort in Naath are all made of fused black dragonstone.[6]
