Drako Rogare was a member of House Rogare, a Lysene noble banking family. He was the son of Lysandro Rogare, the First Magister of Lys.[1]
History
Drako was the son of Lysandro Rogare. He had five trueborn brothers, Lysaro, Moredo, Lotho, Fredo, and Rogerrio, and three trueborn sisters, Larra, Lysara, and Marra as well as sixteen bastard siblings.[1]
After the death of his father, Lysandro "the Magnificent", Drako inherited his ships. When the Rogare Bank ran dry, Drako escaped to Volantis on one of his galleys before he could be tried like many of his siblings. However, for every ship saved, nine were lost, together with their cargos and the Rogare wharves and storehouses. When his brother Lysaro arrived in Volantis after being captured at Volon Therys, the Triarchs offered to ransom him to Drako, but he declined, suggesting instead that the Volantenes sell him back to Lys.[1]
