Ser Elmo Tully was a knight of House Tully who briefly became Lord of Riverrun after the death of his grandfather, Lord Grover Tully.[1]
History
Lord Grover Tully wanted to support King Aegon II Targaryen and the greens during the Dance of the Dragons, but he was too aged and his grandson, Ser Elmo, kept the Tully banners at Riverrun. Supporting Aegon's rival, Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen, after Ser Addam Velaryon visited Riverrun atop Seasmoke,[5] Elmo led river lords at the Second Battle of Tumbleton. Grover passed away soon after the battle, with Elmo succeeding his grandfather as Lord of Riverrun. Elmo died from bad water while marching with the blacks forty-nine days later, however.[3] He was succeeded by his eldest son, Ser Kermit Tully.[1]
