|Died||In late 130 AC or early 131 AC, Red Keep, King's Landing|
During the Dance of the Dragons, Essie claimed her four-year old son, Gaemon, was a bastard son of King Aegon II Targaryen. This led to the boy being installed as a King in the House of Kisses after the flight of Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen, during the Moon of the Three Kings. From the brothel, the boy issued a series of edicts, while the whores offered their favors to any men who swore allegiance to Gaemon. When King's Landing was taken back in the name of King Aegon II, Essie was arrested, and confessed under torture that Gaemon was actually the son of a silver-haired oarsman from Lys. She was hanged for treason.
