The Frostfangs are a mountain range beyond the Wall, it lies to the northeast of the Shadow Tower and the Fist of the First Men [1] One of hte largest mountains in the range is called Forktop by the Night's Watch.[2]
The easiest way into the Frostfangs is to follow the Milkwater river to its source, but this path is very visible. Other paths into the Frostfangs include the Giant's Stair and the Skirling Pass, if it is clear[3]
Frostfangs, jagged peaks eternally covered in snow it's cruel and inhospitable wilderness of stone and ice.[3] It's been suggested the existence of hidden valleys in the Frostfangs, that allow sustain small numbers of people[4], yet not even wildlings dare live in the Frostfangs during the winter[3].

Mance Rayder had taken the bulk of the wildlings into the Frostfangs.[4]
