Prince Gaemon Targaryen was the eleventh child of King Jaehaerys I Targaryen and Queen Alysanne Targaryen.[2]
Appearance and Character
When he was born, Gaemon was a scrawny thing, almost half the size his brother Vaegon had been at birth.[1] He was named after Gaemon the Glorious, the greatest of the Lords of Dragonstone before the Conquest.[1]
History
Gaemon was born to King Jaehaerys I Targaryen and Queen Alysanne Targaryen in 73 AC at the Red Keep in King's Landing. Gaemon was born early, following a long and difficult labor. Gaemon died short of the new year, less than three months old.[1]
