History
Ser Garibald led a group of rivermen in the Battle by the Lakeshore.[1] Garibald refused the challenge of Ser Criston Cole before the Butcher's Ball began, and Criston was instead slain by arrows.[2]
During the First Battle of Tumbleton, Garibald commanded six thousand blacks who faced the army of Lord Ormund Hightower. Garibald's men were forced to retreat after a rain of arrows and a cavalry charge, however. When the Two Betrayers began attacking the blacks, Garibald was struck by a crossbow bolt and then burned by the dragonflame of Tessarion.[1]
