History

With Wisdoms Rossart and Belis, he took part in The Wildfire Plot, the plan to destroy the capital, prepared by the king when the war seemed to turn in disfavor of the loyalists. According to Ser Jaime Lannister, Garigus was as enthusiastic about the plan as the other two pyromancers. The three secretly deployed wildfire caches across the whole city, to be ignited at the King's command. Their constant consultations with the King by day and night made Lord Qarlton Chelsted suspicious, the Hand of the King, leading to him confronting the King.[1]

A couple of days after he had killed Rossart and King Aerys at the Red Keep, Jaime hunted down Garigus and Belis and slew them as well. Garigus wept for mercy, but the sole mercy Jaime showed him was giving him a quick death, unlike the death by fire would have been that Garigus had plotted for the people of King's Landing.[1]
