Lord Gormon Peake of Starpike was a member of House Peake. He was a supporter of Daemon Blackfyre during the Blackfyre Rebellion. He was considered one of the greatest knights of his time.[1] He slew Lord Hayford and Roger of Pennytree at the Battle of the Redgrass Field.[2][3]

Appearance

He was sour-mouthed, with a well trimmed beard colored grey, black and white.[4]

The Mystery Knight

Lord Gormon is part of the entourage of Ser John the Fiddler, who were on their way to the Whitewalls Tourney when they encountered Ser Duncan the Tall.[5] During the tourney, Lord Gormon plotted with Ser Tommard Heddle to make Ser John the winner of the tourney and winning the dragon egg that was given as the prize. Lord Gormon did his best to keep Daemon II, who was obsessed with making his vivid dreams come to pass, from damaging his chances of winning the throne. When the egg went missing, he had a stone painted in the same fashion and framed Ser Glendon Flowers for the theft. His plot to place Daemon II on the throne was foiled when Lord Bloodraven, who knew of the plot from the beginning, surrounded the castle and eventually captured Daemon. Lord Gormon lost his head when Whitewalls fell.[6]
