Harrag Hoare was a King of the Iron Islands from House Hoare. Ravos the Raper was his son.[1]
History
According to Aeron Greyjoy, Harrag was chosen by a kingsmoot.[2] During the reign of Theon Stark, the King of Winter known as the Hungry Wolf, Harrag led a fleet of longships from Great Wyk, Old Wyk, Pyke, and Orkmont against the western coast of the north. Harrag conquered the Stony Shore and burned swathes of the wolfswood, while Bear Island became a base for reaving for Harrag's son, Ravos the Raper. Theon slew Ravos with his own hand, however, and expelled the ironmen from his shores.[1]
