Harrag Hoare was a former King of the Iron Islands. He was chosen by a kingsmoot.[1] Ravos the Raper was his son.[2]
History
During the reign of the King of Winter Theon Stark, "the Hungry Wolf", Harrag led a fleet of longships from Great Wyk, Old Wyk, Pyke, and Orkmont against the western coast of the North, conquering the Stony Shore, burning swathes of the Wolfswood and taking over Bear Island as a base for reaving, ruled by Harrag's son Ravos the Raper. Theon Stark slew Ravos with his own hand, and expelled the ironmen from his shores.[2]
