Harrald Halfdrowned was an ironborn king, although it is unknown if he was a high king chosen by kingsmoot or a hereditary King of the Iron Islands. Harrald and his heir were beheaded by Lancel IV Lannister, King of the Rock, with a single stroke of Brightroar, the Valyrian steel greatsword of House Lannister, during the Battle of Lann's Point.[1]
