The High Lickspittle, as he was known by the Faith Militant during Faith Militant uprising, was the third High Septon of the Faith of the Seven during the reign of Maegor I Targaryen.[1]
History
He replaced the elderly and amiable High Septon in 44 AC. The Faith Miliant dubbed him "the High Lickspittle" as he never spoke against King Maegor, while hundreds of Poor Fellows had been hunted and murdered for the bounty Maegor put on their scalps. In defiance, the Poor Fellows crowned one of their leaders, Septon Moon, as their High Septon.[1]
