History
According to legend, House Bulwer descends from the Bors the Breaker.[4] Ser Buford Bulwer fought at the Battle of the Redgrass Field, where he slew forty men, or so he claimed. He also attended the Whitewalls Tourney. Ser Buford, or mayhaps mistakingly called Ser Theomore, was defeated by Ser Uthor Underleaf in five tilts. Ser Humphrey Bulwer attended the Tourney at Ashford Meadow.
In more recent years, Lord Jon Bulwer, the father of the current lady of the house, died of a summer fever.

Notes
- ↑ In AFFC, Cersei VI, Lady Taena Merryweather reports to Queen Cersei Lannister the rumor of Megga Tyrell marrying "Lady Bulwer's brother". It is unclear who this brother is. Alysanne Bulwer is the Lady Bulwer in question who inherited the lordship of Blackcrown from her father, Lord Jon Bulwer (see A Feast for Crows-Appendix), making the existence of a brother of Alysanne unlikely. It is possible Taena invented this rumor and Alysanne doesn't have a brother. Another possibility is that this brother is Jon's bastard son, making him an half-brother to Alysanne.
