House Farwynd of Sealskin Point is a noble house from the Iron Islands. It has several branches spread across the western part Great Wyk, some of the more distant with their seats on small islands up to nine days away by sea.[1]

Neither their arms nor their motto has not appeared in the books.

  • The only mention of House Farwynd during the first three books is the inclusion of Lord Farwynd on the appendixes from A Storm of Swords.
  • Aeron Greyjoy considers the Farwynds a queer folk, and the ones from the branch of the Lonely Island the most queer. It is said they are skinchangers and take the forms of sea animals.
