Recent Events
A Storm of Swords
Although the course of their lord is unknown, Ser Richard Horpe remains in Stannis's service after the Battle of the Blackwater, and is among the knights known as the queen's men. Ser Richard and Ser Justin Massey had dragged Stannis away from the Battle of the Blackwater to save his life.[2]
During the battle beneath the Wall, the wildling Dormund is killed by a knight with moths on his shield.[3]
A Dance with Dragons
Ser Richard becomes one of Stannis's principal sworn swords, acting as his second-in-command during his northern campaign.[4]
The Winds of Winter
Richard is still with Stannis during their march towards Winterfell.[5]
