History
Prior to the War of Conquest, House Massey was historically sworn to House Durrendon but had closer ties to House Targaryen of Dragonstone. When Aegon the Conqueror launched his invasion of Westeros, the Masseys supported him instead of their king.
The master of laws for Aegon I Targaryen was Tristan Massey.
Lord Gormon Massey was killed on Dragonstone during the Dance of the Dragons by Vermithor.[3]
When Lord Bloodraven marched on Whitewalls to quash the Second Blackfyre Rebellion, among the houses who came in support was House Massey.[4]
