House Morrigen of Crow's Nest is a noble house from Crow's Nest in the stormlands.

Their arms are a black crow in flight on storm-green.[1][2] Their motto does not appear in the books.

History

Dickon Morrigen was killed alongside the Bastard of Blackhaven by Meraxes during the Last Storm.[3]

Ser Damon the Devout, the captain of the Warrior's Sons, died during a trial of seven involving King Maegor I Targaryen.[4]

Ser Grance Morrigen participated in the tourney at Ashford Meadow.

Lord Morrigen had a territorial dispute with Lord Armond Connington.[5]

Recent Events

A Clash of Kings

The Morrigens are among the storm lords that choose to fight for Renly Baratheon during the War of the Five Kings. Ser Guyard Morrigen, known as Guyard the Green, is a member of King Renly's Rainbow Guard. The Morrigens turn to King Stannis Baratheon after Renly's death.

The van of Stannis's army is placed under the command of Guyard, who then leads the foot during the attack on King's Landing. However, Guyard is slain at the Battle of the Blackwater by Ser Garlan Tyrell, who is disguised as Renly.

A Storm of Swords

Lord Lester Morrigen remains loyal to Stannis after the battle of the Blackwater.[6][7]

A Dance with Dragons

Ser Tristan Rivers of the Golden Company captures Crow's Nest, the seat of House Morrigen.[5]
