House Qoherys of Harrenhal is an extinct noble house from Harrenhal in the riverlands. They blazoned their arms with a flaming saltire, red and yellow, between four white skulls, on black.[1]
History
According to a semi-canon source, House Qoherys was of Valyrian descent.[2]
Quenton Qoherys, the master-at-arms of Dragonstone, was granted the ruined castle of Harrenhal by King Aegon I Targaryen, as House Hoare was extinguished in the burning of Harrenhal during Aegon's Conquest. Quenton was succeeded by his grandson, Lord Gargon the Guest, who was murdered in the rebellion of Harren the Red during the reign of King Aenys I Targaryen. House Harroway was then granted the lands and incomes of Harrenhal.[3]
