House Rambton is a noble house from the Crownlands. They blazon their arms with a white ram's head with golden horns on red.[1][2]

A Game of Thrones

The arms of House Rambton are spotted by Lord Eddard Stark during the Tourney of the Hand.

A Clash of Kings

Ser Hubard Rambton leads his three sons to defend the sept at Dragonstone when the Queen's men come to burn it. A brawl ensues where he and his sons kill four of the queen's men, but Hubard and one of his sons are slain as well. Lord Guncer Sunglass refuses to support Stannis Baratheon after the fight.

A Storm of Swords

Hubard's two remaining sons and Lord Sunglass are burned alive by Stannis's wife, Queen Selyse Florent.

House Rambton at the end of the third century

The known Rambtons during the timespan of the events described in A Song of Ice and Fire are:

  • Ser {Hubard Rambton}, a pious knight. Slain on Dragonstone.
    • His three sons. One slain on Dragonstone defending the castle's sept, the other two burned alive as sacrifices to R'hllor.
