House Royce are bannermen to House Arryn. Their sigil is a shower of pebbles on an orange field. The main branch of House Royce rules over Runestone. They have several sets of ancient plate armor enscribed with runes that are thought to make their wearers immune to injury. The truth of this claim has been called into question.

Royce of Runestone
Yohn
Yohn Royce, called "Bronze Yohn", is Lord of Runestone and head of the house. Though a large man and a renowned warrior, he is now middle-aged. He has a lined face, grey hair, and slate-grey eyes set beneath bushy eyebrows. Yohn was one of the Lords Declarant, who objected to the legitimacy of Petyr Baelish as Lord Protector of the Vale following Lysa Tully's death. Though Yohn saw through Petyr's trickery, he was unable to prevent him from achieving a trial period for his authority.
Andar
A knight, Andar is Yohn's eldest son and heir.
Robar
A knight of some skill, Robar was a younger son of Yown who joined Renly's Rainbow Guard as "Robar the Red". After Renly was assissinated by Stannis Baratheon's magical shadow, Robar allowed Catelyn Stark and Brienne of Tarth to escape, believing them at their word that they were not the assassins. Loras Tyrell killed him in a fit of rage after Loras learned that Renly had been slain and the suspected killers had escaped.
Waymar
Another of Yohn's younger sons, Waymar was a young, cocky knight who was killed by Others shortly after joining the Night's Watch.
