House Stackspear is a noble house of the westerlands sworn to Casterly Rock.
Neither their arms or their motto appear in the books. They blazon their arms with two crossed black spears on checkered silver and gold.[1][2]

History
According to a semi-canon source,[3] the Stackspears supported Tywin Lannister when he suppressed the Reyne-Tarbeck rebellion.
Recent Events
A Clash of Kings
Ser Alyn Stackspear is with Lord Tywin Lannister's army at Harrenhal, and Arya Stark hears rumours that he might be responsible for the gaoler's wife being with child.[4]
A Feast for Crows
A banner of House Stackspear is among those gathered to escort the corpse of Tywin back to Casterly Rock. Ser Jaime Lannister spots Alyn riding at a quintain in the yard of the Red Keep after the funeral procession departs.[1]

The known Stackspears during the timespan of the events described in A Song of Ice and Fire are:
- Lord Selmond Stackspear, Lord Stackspear.
- Ser Steffon Stackspear, his eldest son and heir.
- Ser Alyn Stackspear, his second son.
Historical Stackspears
