- Ser Gladden is part of the force that Lord Eddard Stark sends out to arrest Ser Gregor Clegane.
- During the Battle at the Mummer's Ford Ser Gladden is killed by House Lannister forces.
- Ser Gawen Wylde attempted to sneak out of Storm's End during the Siege of Storm's End and surrender. He was captured and later died in his cell.
