House Wylde of Rain House is a noble house from Rain House in the Stormlands. It is one of the principal houses sworn to House Baratheon.[1] According to semi-canon sources they blazon their arms with a blue-green maelstrom on gold.[2]

History

The Wylde arms were spotted by Dunk among the gathered heraldry. Ser Willem Wylde was a member of Daeron II Targaryen's Kingsguard. He fought on behalf of Prince Aerion Targaryen during the trial of seven at Ashford.[3]

During the Siege of Storm's End, Ser Gawen Wylde attempted to sneak out of the castle and surrender to the besieging army of Lord Mace Tyrell. He was captured and later died in his cell.
