House Wynch of Iron Holt is a noble house from the island of Pyke in the Iron Islands. They are among the Greyjoys' principal bannermen.[2] Their seat Iron Holt is on the other side of the island from the castle of Pyke, the seat of House Greyjoy.[3]

Their blazon is a bloody moon on purple.[4][5] Their motto does not appear in the books.

Following the death of Lord Dalton Greyjoy, Alester Wynch and Gunthor Goodbrother held Faircastle as the Iron Islands fell into chaos. Gunthor eventually slew Alester in a quarrel over Lysa Farman.[6]
