Hugh Hungerford is a sellsword of Westerosi origin, and a serjeant of the Windblown.
History
Hugh was the Windblown's paymaster until he was caught stealing from the war chest. The Tattered Prince had three of his fingers removed for theft.[1]
Appearance and Character
Hugh is slim and saturnine, long-faced, long-legged, and clothed in faded finery.[2] He is sour.[1]
Recent Events
A Dance with Dragons
Hugh is sent by the Tattered Prince to appear to defect to Queen Daenerys Targaryen, along with the other Westerosi Windblown.[1] However, once Quentyn Martell reveals the ruse to her, Hugh and the other Windblown defectors are imprisoned.[3] Meris is eventually freed by Daenerys[3] but Hugh and the others are still prisoners at the start of the second siege of Meereen.[4]
