Jeyne Smallwood was a member of House Smallwood during the reign of kings Viserys I, Aegon II and Aegon III Targaryen. She, Jeyne Merryweather and Jeyne Mooton were known as the three Jeynes.[2] Her relation to the head of the house, Lord Joseth Smallwood of Acorn Hall, is unknown.

History

Jeyne was a possible marriage candidate for King Aegon III Targaryen. She was one of the many maidens injured or scandalized, and suffered what was called the "Maiden's Day curse". Not long after the Maiden's Day Ball was announced, it was put about that Jeyne Smallwood liked to dress in squire's garb, visiting the brothels along the Street of Silk to kiss and fondle the women there as if they were boys. It was possible that this was a rumor fabricated by Lord Unwin Peake, who wished to promote his own daughter as Aegon III's second queen.[2]
