A Dance with Dragons

After the taking of the Shields, Kerwin is forced to serve Victarion Greyjoy by his brother, King Euron Greyjoy. During the Iron Fleet's voyage to Slaver's Bay, Kerwin is raped by four sailors. When he complains of this to Victarion, Kerwin is given a dagger to seek revenge against his abusers, though he is too timid to use it.[2]

Victarion suspects Kerwin of poisoning him as the maester's attempts to heal Victarion's wounded hand have all failed. Moqorro succeeds where the maester failed, so Victarion has Kerwin killed and thrown into the sea under Moqorro's direction so the fleet would gain favorable winds.[2]
