Kin of the Stag is a work by Maester Hubert, who suggests that Galladon of Morne was a historic figure of more recent times, and not some rude warrior from the Age of Heroes. The book also describes that, while Morne was the seat of petty kings on the eastern shores of Tarth until the Storm Kings forced them to submit, Morne's ruins seem to indicate it was made by Andals and not First Men.[1]
